Meet Edward Cohen
WSET-certified sommelier
It started with a bicycle trip through the south of France. At least that’s what founder Edward Cohen says about the genesis of DRINK WINE AND LEARN. On that trip, he and his friends pedaled 15-35 miles each day—often alongside the Gironde River—past stunning vineyards in the region of Bordeaux. At night they stayed in a different chateau or country inn, and were treated to a four- or five-course meal with wine pairings for each course.
That experience—enjoying great wine and food with friends in a casual atmosphere—became the heart of DRINK WINE AND LEARN.
It is Edward’s mission to improve your enjoyment and understanding of the wines you drink and purchase. He prefers to present in an environment that is convivial and comfortable for his clients.
Since that trip, Edward has completed the Court of Master Sommeliers Level 1 course and exam. He also has a diploma from the Program for Wine Professionals at St. Paul College. He is currently studying through the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) of London, and is certified having completed Level 3 (Advanced.)
